I watched a show on the History channel about Nostradamus and his predictions for 20 12. It was very detailed and explained so many different factors. I am pretty convinced by the evidence, but yet am not altering my life for that. There is more than just him that relates to 20 12 as the end of time, there is the myan calander, as well as the works of the i ching. I'm finding a pattern in these works relating to December 21, 2012 as the ” end of the world” or at least the end of recorded calanders. What do you think? Have you read anything on it, do you believe in prophets, heard about the free masons, etc?
This is something that has fascinated me for the past couple of years. In the past, there have been numerous times when it was said by one religious fanatic or another that the end of the world would be such and such date... usually in the year they proclaimed the end was near.
ReplyDeleteNostradomus and the Mayan calendar are different though... for many of the predictions, have in fact, come to pass.
Will it be the end of the world? Perhaps.
Or, perhaps it will be the end of the world as we know it. Just one large solar flare or asteroid shower could cause a significant change to our earth without necessarily destroying the earth as a whole.
Definitely something to ponder, but not something I wish to dwell on... since the dying process is longer than the growing process in humans... I'm simply happy I awoke this morning.
